Established in 2023, WDDR is a not for profit charity which aims to rescue wildlife during disasters, providing support to local groups and assist in the recovery to ensure environmental values have not been lost.
With our talented group of volunteers and generous sponsors we are able to bring this vision to life. Functioning across the greater Darling Downs, we are here to support groups and carers and help those who can't help themselves.

We would like to give a special mention to our partners and sponsors. Without the generosity of whom we would not be able to operate. WDRR gives special thanks to the Southern Downs Regional Council, Toowoomba Regional Council and Nicky Wright.
